What's the dress code?
Smart traditional or ethnic wear. Think kurtas, sarees, lehengas, or sherwanis. Please avoid white or black. For Haldi, wear something light-colored that you don't mind getting turmeric on — it's going to get messy!
Is there an airport nearby?
The nearest is Cochin International Airport (COK), about 100 km from the venue. Calicut International Airport (CCJ) is another option at around 80 km. From either airport, you can take a cab or pre-booked taxi to Cheruthuruthi — the drive is about 2 to 2.5 hours.
How do I get to the venue?
The River Retreat is in Cheruthuruthi, Thrissur district, Kerala. From Thrissur town, it's about 30 km — cabs are easily available. We'll share a detailed route map and recommended transport options closer to the date. If you need help arranging transport, just let us know.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, ample parking is available at The River Retreat for the wedding ceremony. For the reception at The Date Banquets, parking is available near Metro Pillar No. 52-55 in the Jhilmil Industrial Area.
Can I take photos?
Yes, take ALL the photos. We've spent way too much money on this day to not have it documented from 47 angles. Just don't be the person who lifts an iPad over the crowd during the ceremony. You know who you are. Don't be that person. 💕
What do I gift the couple?
Just show up and dance badly with us. That's it. If you really must bring something, our honeymoon fund will love you forever. (No crockery, please. We have enough plates to feed a small village.)
